Love's Embrace

Another night of lying here awake in my bed
Clouded with thoughts of him in my head
Can't go on much longer like this
My lips are yearning for just one kiss

When i see him my heart smiles
In my mind he's truly worthwhile
I've never felt this way before
My heart has so much love for him in store

My body aches for his embrace
My ears long to hear to him say,
He loves me & that he's here to stay
No more hurt & pain of yesterday

The heartache has vanished without a trace
Nothing but love & joy for the rest of my days
