Final Goodbyes

by Stephanie   Jun 16, 2011

She stabbed him in the back and broke his trust
she believed she could get away with it
but now she'll pay for her actions unjust
when the lights go down, she'll have to submit
when she least expects it he must attack
It's what she deserves from the one she hurt
she drove him to the edge so now he'll crack
because of her, his planned life will divert
when the sun is gone, that's when he will strike
revenge at last, she won't hurt him again
she won't do much with her head on a pike
when all's said and done, he won't be humane
before she goes, there'll be fear in her eyes
that'll drown out in their final goodbyes
