Vital blood

by Shawn   Jun 20, 2011

Slowly, I'm attaching my last wound.
Sitting in a puddle of my blood.
She is in my thoughts and takes my mind off the pain
My love for her now visible,
Red as my heart that beats for her,
Red as the wine we drank together
as well as the red roses that I gave to her
which she took the thorns of and stabbed them into my heart!
I now begin to feel the pain and see that I forgot a wound,
too big to attach before the last drip of love flowed out of me.
