Heat of Ice

The tellings of peoples hearts being of ice can be true
Its has been said that I have a Frozen heart

Love can Freeze your heart in one spot
It can stop every beat and make your breath your last
Your one true love does that to you

When I see you my heart begins to race
My face is flush
I can't help but fumble my words
I walk slowly toward you as you walk toward me
I find myself staring into those star burst blue eyes
And feel my heart begin to melt
It melts so fast I get a cold chill from the water
I get nervous and we reach in to kiss softly
And he tells me
"I found someone else..."
My heart freezes up again and shatters into a million pieces
You have gone and put a knife in my chest and i feel
Like dieing
I look up at the sky
It has turned black
And him just a shadow as he strolls over to his new
Love
My heart is to never be put back together again
It will just melt those million piece's making me
Unlovable
I try to breath
But my chest will not move
I try to walk but my legs will not move
He hugs me and introduces me
Of all things introduces me to his new love
I could not speak
They walk away and I melt into the ground
I died right there
I didn't make it to a new love

Love is a strange thing you can't live without it
But it will just stab you in the chest later
