Fairytale

Once upon a fairytale,
She finally met her knight,
Her very own prince charming,
Her own Mr right.

She got her happy ever after,
Everything was great,
Her heart was filled with butterflies,
It really was fate.

They spent each day together,
Joined at the heart,
They really did love each other,
They had done from the start.

But like every other fairytale,
The end was bound to come,
As the pages turned,
Their love came undone.

The wicked witch had her turn,
She finally played her part,
She tricked the boy to love her,
Which broke his true loves heart.

She took a bite from the apple,
Her life ended there,
Without her prince's love,
Her life she couldn't bare.

She was put in her coffin,
And laid quietly to rest,
In her favorite outfit,
Buried at her best.

Her prince came to watch,
He kissed her once goodbye,
The spell was broken then,
Inside he felt him die.

He realized what had happened,
Revenge he would get,
Then live his life alone,
Holding onto regret.
