From Error to Error

by XTaintedxBeautyX   Aug 2, 2011

Here I stand in front of you,
Thinking of what I must do.
I really owe you an apology,
as sincere and real as I can be.

It goes back to when the ground was white,
what I did was not right.
I'm sorry for how things were said,
I can only image what went through your head.

I still remember our southbound trip,
I was stupid to let you slip.
As you left you kissed me cheek,
My chest fell heavy, my knee's went weak.

My sad excuse; I was afraid.
To let go of the life that I had made.
I chose to take the easy way,
and regret that decision to this day.

As months go on, we grow apart
but I still think about the start.
I think about how we'd be.
I miss the days of you and me.

I'm sorry is about all I can say, when I didn't mean for it to be this way.
