Sleepy Hollow

by Jason Mans   Aug 2, 2011

Riding on a horse
Through the bending, curving trees

Hearing all the funny noises
Scaring you to the knees

Galloping along in a gallop of fear
Going up and down the road, and all that you can hear

Is the sound of a sudden trot, that now pursues you own
Noticing now, that you are not alone

Then there is a turn off, into a darkened wood
Wondering whether or not, you shouldn't or you should

Cantering down the path ,chilled to the bone
like a dagger in your back
A dagger made of stone

Fear fulls you body, your out of luck
And with a sharp sword your back is stuck

You stare up at the person
Who stabbed you through the chest
The persons' face who stabbed you, is not above his vest

You get so scared you cannot swallow
Shouldn't have road through sleepy hollow
