That Day Was Hell

I remember every detail about it,
I remember the words that were spoken,
And the heart that was broken.
Her first love,
The one that made her world go round,
The one that made her smile and laugh.
The one that made her day,
The one she believed she could trust in...cheated?

The news struck her right where it hurt the most,
Where pain has never gotten in before.
She couldn't breathe,
Her heart felt like it had stopped,
So much in shock, she couldn't even cry.

Phone in hand,
The text message read what would change her days forever.

Hand over her heart,
He had ripped it out.
Everything they built up he shattered down.
Every moment they spent,
Had he not remembered?

He shot it to hell.

The pain was scary,
All she wanted to do was get to him ask him the question thats been on her mind all along,
