Home: I Now Have

by Eleazar C. Pedros   Sep 3, 2011

I now have a home
where I can stay;
a place that has warmly
accepted me.

A home where my love
is nurtured and shared;
A tranquil place
when my day end.

A home where I feel comforted
from life's troubles;
A place where I gain hope
with all life's struggles.

A home where my dreams
are first conceived;
A place where my future
is slowly revealed.

A home I ache
to hold and cling,
to feel embraced,
to feel being touched.

A home to be with
wherever I go,
and give me company
in times of sorrow.

A home to sing with
when I feel glad,
and stroke my back
when I am mad.

A home to pray with
for blessings from above,
and be my travel mate
in this short life.
