I watch you
watching me love
someone else.

I feel you
feeling sad and
unwanted.

Please understand
what you ask
is not easy.

I cannot just
undo what is
already done.

I hate loving
him, knowing you
want my love.

I hate loving
you, knowing my
heart is his.

Don't hate me
because I can't
love you back.

Remember I
will always
love you too.

I won't ever say
it, but know
that I do.

Because my love,
this is tasking
on my heart.

Just be there and
maybe one day I
will be too.
