This Forbidden Love

by Miss Kelly   Sep 12, 2011

Even though I knew it was wrong
Possibly outright stupid and crazy
But the forbidden love no one speaks of
Had brought on a case of pure curiosity.
That forbidden road I chose to head down
Was something I just couldn't resist
I chose it for a reason unknown to me
The pure curiosity took me over completely.
I devoured the desire and infatuation
It took me further than I ever thought it would
I was completely powerless to stop it
I wasn't even sure I wanted it to stop.
The urges told me that I had to continue
Down that road that leads me to the love I need
This forbidden love I shouldn't want
And I'm not at all sure how to make it right again.
My heart pounds faster in my chest
This forbidden love that I admire
Will only lead me to a place I can't defy
And I end up asking myself
Is this forbidden love really worth it?
