Had I read this earlier, then I would've nominated this for the weekly contest, and make sure it gains the attention it deserves.

I truly love this piece, for its graspable images and its honesty. Each stanza placed me on a path to the right interpretation, but after every stanza this path began to have crooks and I found myself being surprised. It's truly admirable how these crooks seem to end into each other, as I was never distracted from the actual tone of this piece.

This poem is alive, honest and emotional.

Well done.
