Field of colours

by Craig   Oct 5, 2011

Sitting in a field, the long grass wavering about us swirling with the wind,
The chink of our glasses filling the silent air,
the noise makes butterflies and many beautiful birds erupt from the grass,
filling the sky with an array of colors.
laying there holding each other in our arms watching the colors drift across the sky,
a single butterfly blue in color lands on my chest by her face, looking at it, it flies off gracefully,
Elegant swirls and twirls it raises in the sky,
The clouds lazily fly across the sky over our heads,
The sun beating down its rays of warmth and glow,
Her face brightens in the noon day sun,
glowing with happiness and love,
we drift off to sleep in this peaceful moment to be awoken by an owl,
its elegant wings fly over us,
gliding in search of prey,
how beautiful it looks,
as beautiful as you.
