It all started back in high school,
yeah we thought we had it all.
Everyone thought of you as cool,
but I was the one you made fall.

I fell for your good looks,
fell for your charm.
Couldnt keep my mind in my books,
only wanted to be in your arms.

Just when I thought,
I had found the one
You changed your mind,
and then you were gone.

We both went our seperate ways,
having no contact with each other.
You were on my mind everyday,
each year passed one after the other.

Six years had passed
of not knowing a thing
then your sister found me
and it let to me wearing your ring

We had our good times,
and then our bad.
You were finally mine,
the best thing I ever had.

Then push came to shove
and we departed
broken was our love
and we were both brokenhearted.

Days go by
and I still think of you
wondering what it'd be like
to still be with you.

It hurts to know
that a love so strong
would always end up
being so wrong

if we cant make it as lovers
