Tear Apart Heart

by anne boring   Oct 11, 2011

The promise was made, until death do us part.
Lurking in the shadows lay the tear apart heart.

A child was born. Our family had a start.
Paralyzed by love was the tear apart heart.

Time is like an enemy emerging from nowhere.
Hard times carry hurt that rip the soul apart.
Creeping out of the darkness comes the tear apart heart.

The path of destruction is fueled by pain. No love or respect hoping to gain.
Merciless and vengeful is the tear apart heart.

As I gathered my soul all ripped and torn-
I knew our days were numbered when vengeance was born.

Hope follows faith to the brightest of days. Where love and respect will find a way.........
