There Are So Many Things I Wish I Said...

by The Invisible Boy   Oct 11, 2011

Hiding from the world
Looking for the right words
Waiting for the girl
Looking up to the clouds and birds

Falling through time and space
Waiting for her to appear
A slow smile forms across my face
As the doors begin to open here

A glorious ray of sunshine
Butteflies unfurl in my insides
I can't walk in a straight line
My legs are no longer my guides

As she opens her mouth
My ears come to a standstill
Beautiful soothing music comes out
Up and down my spine is a chill

As the day comes to an end
Goodbye are the words I dread
My smile begins to descend
There are so many things I wish I said...
