I thought you loved me, I thought you cared.
After all the memories and love that we shared.
I actually thought you were the one,
but now boy, I am beyond done.

I should of listened to what everyone said,
now its too late, to me you are dead.
I thought we'd last forever, I thought this was real
and now I know the real way you feel.

You never cared the way that I thought,
every lie you told me, I easily bought.
Casey, now I can see the real you,
and now you know that we are through.

    Sorry you are having to go through a breakup, nothing worse in the whole world regardless of your age. I see you are new to the site and not sure if you are new to writing as well. You did a good job with the rhymes, presenting your message. There were just a few places where it could have read smoother. All in all you did a good job. If you are new to writing, keep at it you have potential.
