I think a lot of women will relate to this poem. No-one likes being lied to and once you have been lied to so many times you begin to tar everyone with the same brush. I love how you covered the subject.

Jessi. I should be honest with you..

At some places, some words seemed off to me. And at others they were perfectly penned.

IF you could structure the poem.. add linkers... remove the 'ha' part.

It would suffice.

nevertheless, I wasn't bored while reading.. so, v. good, indeed.

I'm a bit confused by this, part of me feels like you think men are the liars, part of me feels like it's humanity over all, that we live and strive for the lies, which I agree with 100% (well, MOST people anyway, there are always the exceptions lol).

This poem made me think. I had to delve into what you meant (or what I thought you meant anyway haha) to really get the full picture, which made me read it over and over. That's a good way to get readership ;) I don't think you spelled everything out in a way that makes you read it just one specific way. I interpreted this in a few different ways, and I think that is something that really helps create good poetry.. leaves the reader able to mold it to their own lives and feelings.

I think the title is quite interesting and eye-catching because it's so sarcastic yet it feels like you're trying to say that it'd actually be mens aim. This poem flows quite well actually and that's mainly because of your choice of words, they just flow smoothly and I didn't have the feeling that it was choppy.

Your statements do leave space for own interpretations, which is quite good because like that you don't only convey one specific message, but rather different ones, that people may agree to if they think it's right. I have to admit that I wouldn't say men are liars, but I would agree that everybody lies at times, it seems human. That doesn't justify it, but well.

So overall I enjoyed reading this poem because it encouraged be to think and it was simply an enjoyable read.
