Spanish Guitar

by Stephanie Morell   Oct 26, 2011

It hypnotizes me, it raptures my soul.
It enters through my ears and overwhelms my senses.
The music easily slides into my pores and flows through my veins.
My heart is in a high and pumps the euphoria throughout my body.
I close my eyes and let the music become my commander.
It orders me to lose control, to allow my body to play with the music.
And so, my body does as it pleases.
I close my eyes and allow it to seduce the sound.
The less I think, the more the ecstasy grows.
My hips sway from side to side,
Teasing the noise that is entrancing them.
My fingers run through my hair,
And my other hand explores my body.
I permit my soul to become my guide.
Long has it been since it has come out of its pit.
My soul rejoices with him, the music,
And both become entranced,
Almost as if making love to one another.
When the song ends,
My soul is at peace again.
Exhausted, it thanks me,
And it confides in me that it has fallen in love
With that Spanish guitar.
