No prince

by hanna casinillo   Nov 2, 2011

She cried blood instead of tears
And no one knew all these years
That she had cuts, yet all unseen
Never knew that life's this mean

What had happened to her?
She dies every single night
Have you ever thought of it?
That something about her is not right.

A girl who never knew,
The meaning of being clean
She was never treated like a human
Her clothes are nowhere to be seen

Every night was paradise,
For those who wanted pleasure
And every night she feels so sad
By misusing all her treasure

She didn't want to be in this,
Every night she feels so used
Every stroke, she knows inside
Her body is abused.

She wanted to get out,
But still cannot escape
And every night she knows inside
That this is basically rape

There's no ending to this story
As it happens all the time
Repeated scenes of abuse
Can't be masked by closing rhymes.
