This lil lady i once knew

by Deanna   Nov 3, 2011

I remember this lil lady i once knew,

She was so beautiful,

Inside and out.

You'd catch her off to the side,

Looking up straight into the sky.

Wither the sun shine, or cloudy weather,

You could see the confusion and loneness,

Left deep within her tear filled brown eyes.

So many things she use to bottle up inside.

This lil lady i once knew,

Use to be so controlled so mentally abused.

Her heart was once so much more to her,

That was until she let him get a hold of what was only hers.

He swept her off her feet, treated her like gold,

But behind hidden cameras he was causing her so much
sorrow.

Stupidity is what others called it,

To her it was just a part of love.

A phase she believed everyone had to go throw in the mid-ship.

How foolish could she have been to put up with his
hurtful ways,

Not once not twice but continuously.

He failed her good the last time around,

His hood way got himself put away.

And now..

Well and now..

She's finally getting on her feet,

She's finally giving her heart a chance at something
different,

But yet now glancing over her shoulder;

He's there,

He is all she sees,

chasing her.

This lil lady is fed up.

The last tear has already fell long ago.

Remind me once more,

How strong you told her to be!

To keep pushing forward, smiling.

I remember this lil lady i once knew,

Wait a minute,

Let me correct myself real fast,

Let me get the facts straight,

Pace yourself now,

This lil lady i once knew,

Use to be me!

I'm still the same; beautiful,

inside and out,

Just a tad bit differently,

I'm happier, u see,

Can't you just let me be!
