Just Friends

by Misfit Silentts   Nov 18, 2011

As I sit in class,
Cuddled in your jacket with warmth,
A friend asks if me and you are back together.
I want to say yes.
I want to tell her of all
The passionate embraces
And gentle kisses
We share each night.
I want to talk about
The joy
From when I slept in your arms
Just nights before.
I want to speak of
The love we still share.
But I know that I can't,
And that it must be kept secret.
So instead I shake my head
and mutter
"No.
We're just friends."
