A November day

by Creole papillion   Nov 26, 2011

The world is cruel.
The Best moments of life are only to be experienced superficially
Your desires are close enough for you to taste on the tip of your tongue
But too far away to touch

It had been sweet happy, simple and fluid
But life's blizzard shook me up and reminded me of a cold hard truth
Two people are often thrown together only to be torn right apart
By the sheer force of the unattainable

Is life poking fun at me?
It sure does feel like a mild electric shock is running through me
Stimulating the constant need to cry
Killing me softly

Oh my....must I vent this painful sweet cloud?

Should I cross my heart and believe in fate?
Float in life's waters and trust that it will bring kismet?
Or should I swim against the tides and preserve whatever is left
Of the love that had my entire physical being swept?
