Wow, this poem is amazing... it was a bit different than your usual poems, and I love the title. It caught my eye! I love how you wrote about this person leaving their scent behind, and how you would star in the "abandoned" play. It was penned beautifully.

A wonderful flow with deep emotional touches. We go into relationships blind, guided by someone we are attracted too or sometimes even family . Being abandoned comes in many forms.

Just an opinion...

Did you mean "would create the perfect play for me to STAR in?" The word 'start' makes sense there too, I was just curious.

A poem that all of us can relate to...we have all been led in the wrong direction by love at some point.

This poem has great free flow and reads like an eloquent entry to a journal
