We cannot always have someone in our lives and that requires us to be happy with ourselves, if we are not, then we feel incomplete. Having someone in your life is not always what we imagine it will be.

This is more than a sad poem but a poem of self imprisonment. It was very touching , well worded and the flow was very smooth.

Can relate to the hopelessness and loneliness expressed in your poem. Have been feeling the same since I left Florida. You captured this emotion very well here.

We humans are a prisoner of our self created prison. Only we, can break through the barrier we have fabricated to shut out what we're afraid of. Too often it is depression or a notion of being lonely and too often it is self pity, where one is sure that he does not deserve all that he is bestowed upon with. But eventually, this phase passes.
