I remember

I remember the night
That I ran away
My Mind told me to go
But my Heart said to stay

It's been so long
Though my heart still aches
From the Girl I met
Way back in May

I told You I loved You
Not once did I lie
Still everynight
I lay awake
Feeling empty inside

My heart had left me
For I had betrayed
The only thing it knew
Now just a void filled
With the memories of you

    I can sense some regret in this poem

    maybe iread it wrong maybe i didnt but i sensed it

    and i know how that feels.

    regrets formed by losing someone are in my opinion are the second worst regret f, the first one be hurting them
