Love shadow

I love him but im just a shadow
my love is a shadow
i have loved him sence we met
but he can't see it
he had seen never how i love him
because all i am to him is a shadow
he once told me he loved me
but i don't he thought i loved him back....
am i a shadow...
is my love a shadow?
