Running to a halt

by Lisa   Dec 23, 2011

It's not my fault
That you can't see
What they had done
Took pieces of me

I've been hiding so long for so many years
Cried so often
Where are all my tears

They lived on me all of my life
I'm taking it back
because they had no right

Empty years a silenced mind
Running on auto now its my time

I've got to make sure they feed no more
innocence is precious innocence is pure
l
please help me from screaming deep in night
All I want is a brand new life.
