Ghost

by Zulay Martinez   Jan 9, 2012

I wander backwards in a place unlike my own
In a place full of shame where people hide their face
A world where people pretend and cause terror to all
Where there is hunger disease and disasters
We survive change we survive hardships and endure
What life has in store, walk side by side with death
Instead with a friend we ignore the darkness and wander
To the light walking beside lives that will one day fade
As before I wander forward I have to wander backwards
To learn from my mistakes and forgive those who give
Others hate, for to love them is to move forward so you
Dont have to remember pain and suffer ring and actions of others
With pain you move forward while sadness holds you back
You move forward and back
