To be as She

by Zulay Martinez   Jan 9, 2012

It is a night of eternal pain, a song of death,
wolves vent their howls. The thirsting one awakes.

Night consumes her stalking form,
an impatient agony.

Her raven hair cascades over her
pale and tragic shoulders, and her
full blood red lips part slightly, to taste the
life streaming from the
pale flesh beneath her.

Now a night of shared vitality,
I remember her
For to be as she is pain like no other
To be forgotten as her is like not existing at all
And existing at all is like a ghost everyone is scared of
To remember the girl who once wept and cried tears of blood
Is no memory at all
