A strangers love

by Zulay Martinez   Jan 9, 2012

Kiss me by the light of the moon
My lovers embrace more than a welcome
My heart shall love you forever even as you leave
The tears I cried for have long to dry away

My heart stopped beating because you crushed it away
You laugh and said words that will never go away
And even if it hurts to know you only used me
You made me stronger when you left me and all the pain went away

Because when we were together we were still so far apart
You were a ghost that haunted me and kept going away
You were a stranger one who I thought I knew I thought I loved
But time with you only made me realized that youre not worth my effort
Your not worth my breath my tears or my time

My heart called out to another even when you were around
A secret I thought I could hide hope that it would be gone
I felt guilty for loving another; until I saw you scream and shout
Youre not worth anything because you used my love for you against me

And when you broke it off.. I did not cry or felt alone... I felt free
