Rolling/UP DATED 1/28/2012

Rolling

A don't give a damn
Nigh in September
Misfits and neon light
Drapes the street
Fun easy to find

Slowly try to catch
The eye
Of roses, caught in the act looking deep into her eyes
A girl from the other side of the street

Rolling in my 64 hopping
Right to left front to back
My crew and I show off our skill
Chevrolet chrome flashing
sparks flying
Is all about the thrill
Rolling in my 64
Covered
In nightfall and music
Playing the tears of a clown load
Chevrolet hopping
Heads turning
And looks from the crowd

Picking up dolls
Our party treat
Pretty and brown sugar sweet

The city sprawls
Out like a load storms
In a motel room

The street
Night sprawls out
Music blasting
Louder then a sonic boom
Entomb in the night
The loco and baby dolls
Dancing to the sound

Custom paint reflects
The cityscape,
A lunatic fines peace
under the street light.
Cruising carefree
Baby doll setting next to me
My boys ready for a fight.
Custom paint ride
Neon falls covering the night
No outlaw trying
To hunt me down
This is the good day in my town.

Rolling is a poem about sub culture and misfits that crash in to truth but their life style blinds the sun.
