Saving Me

Running through the darkness,
A lifeless soul on the verge of disappearing.
A shadow that will never be seen,
Strangers tearing at my heart,
Sneering at my weakness.
Hearing my pleas, volunteering to help me rise again.
Holding me close I chose to let you in.
Just like an angel sent from above you saved me.
You stole my heart with just one kiss.
Forever, you and I shall dance in this bliss,
Until it's only me and you that seem to exist.

    Thanks guys :) and everlastimg no i wrote it for my girlfriend and she says im her superman so i signed it as that.

    My gosh, this piece left an impression. Love doesnt need much to make it far, but it seems like you already know that. The piece has your heart in it, this I can tell and this I love. The words are simple but used in such way that they seem so much more powerful here than most people make them seem. You have managed to describe things in the absolute most detail possible, yet vague enough to let the reader take this piece in their own.way. Amazing job. 5/5 of course

    I'm just wondering, Did you write this piece as a tribute to superman or more like a dedicatory towards your beloved which you see him as a superman?
