I'm not sure if my interpretation will be close but...these are my thoughts. I think you are talking about how you can quite easily go unnoticed in today's society...it's very easy to become overwhelmed by life these days and what is expected of us..hence the feeling of drowning?

I'm open to people giving their thoughts and ideas on what my poetry means, it's why I write them :) I believe it should be 'ripples' as I'm describing more than one ripple, not 100% sure though!

A creative write that is very open to interpretation from a poet I'm not that familiar with. The piece flows beautifully from beginning to end. It gives the reader a gist that echo's of what's within, and for me that was just enough. I'm not into long winded critiques dissecting and interpreting this and that, and with this poem that's not necessary, I just like it, well done
