Better Days

Better Days

A dear john letter covered in silky black
Bad luck black cat cross your path

not a good day
Lost love well stay

Rainbow leaking

dipped in black
Memory of mix up pain
The soul dripping in plaque

A white swan feathers turning mid night black
The evil princes heart a vial of black
Defined as a lemon going sour

Romance come and going a single lonely black rose
Gold ring turns your finger black now you know
Dame good time to have a whiskey at Joe's

Better Days is a poem about knowing that the cards you hold are junk, and only one way to win is to go have a whiskey at Joe's.
