    Lord, I am an anthology,
    a collection of unpoetic,
    unaligned belongings
    and possessions that
    do not get along together,
    that I can't bear myself-no longer.

    Please, Take me...
    Take the whole stature of me;
neither leave a stiff body to
be cried over, nor allow my
    soul to flee in peace.

^These are definately my favourite stanza's of the whole piece!!

The whole poem is full of sadness and deep emotion, and tugs at my heart strings, I felt every word I read. And the quality of the flow was flawless, and the wording unique and well structured.

I can't find a fault no matter how hard I try to, LOL

You always do such a great job on these kinds of poems

    Love always
    Tara

    My mind; a highway
    bearing hosts of arrivals,
    a mass of eyes flashing
    for departure
    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
The use of the word host is brilliant in this first stanza - it makes me think of someone else controlling our minds - in this case a possible ghost?

And I, wish it to shut...
    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
When our minds are open to these sorts of things, I think it can be harder to close or control. Reading this line I am thinking of that movie with Kevin Bacon - Stir of echos

    My heart; an opened ocean
    inflowing distant, foreign signals-
    into the madness
    of my waves
    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I love the idea you have mentioned of foreign signals. Something out of the ordinary. Not the norm.

And I, wish it to dry

    My soul; an airship-
    empty but heavy,
    pulling me down to earth,
    though hauling me into
    the depth of unkind skies
    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I love the image here hun. So well written. Empty but heavy - brilliant

    Lord, I am an anthology,
    a collection of unpoetic,
    unaligned belongings
    and possessions that
    do not get along together,
    that I can't bear myself-no longer
    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
This makes me think that your mind which seems as though is uncontrollable is really at war with itself.

    Please, Take me...
    Take the whole stature of me;
neither leave a stiff body to
be cried over, nor allow my
    soul to flee in peace.
    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Such a heartbreaking stanza hun. This makes me think of being in limbo

Oh what an awesome poem. I may not be reading it or understanding it as you intended the reader to but this is the feel I got while reading it.

    You are a magnificent writer!!!

You don't know how much you ruptured my inner feelings now.... and I'm afraid I'd become vulnerable.

I love it. You have props.

    Oh Nana,
This is such a sad piece, with a defeated tone.

    " I am an anthology,
    a collection of unpoetic,
    unaligned belongings
    and possessions that
    do not get along together"

^ Just that stanza could be a poem all by itself. There is such a sense of friction and conflict between your various thoughts, emotions etc. One thing! I felt you could lose the "and" before the second to last line!

    "My soul; an airship-
    empty but heavy"

^ It's so true, when we feel empty, we can never say truthfully that we therefore feel light and free. We feel heavy hearted! I think to put an oxymoron in here, e.g empty weight or empty heaviness, this could have worked very very well. But that's just me =]

I'm so glad I took the time to read this. If i could vote, I would!
