Waiting. . .

by EveJaneLucille   Feb 1, 2012

Waiting for one or the other
Your love or death
Whichever's the quicker

Unable to hear certain sounds
Songs from DRIVE
Even in the background

Wanting it all to end
My life or the pain
My heart won't mend

Wishing you were here all of the time
Unable to fathom
Why you can't just be mine

Wanting that time back so bad it hurts
Imagining you
With someone else

Crying and crying all of the time
Wanting my love back
Stealing's a crime

Wishing I never gave it away
So very freely
Day after day after day after day

Wishing away the time
Needing you here
Without Reason or rhyme

The beauty of an eneded relationship no matter how hard it is or how much it hurts is its all experience when you meet someone else, you learn the hard way as we all do, but, over time things become easier and we get by because we have too.

I like the layout of this poem, it does seem simplified with the wording but its overall message is understandable. well done.
