Tangerine - Stanlee

Tangerine - Stanlee

Maybe I have enough strength to give my all, just this once again.
Or maybe I'll just shatter and be finally dissolved by pain.

How do I say something that I haven't already said before?
Something new, something beautiful, something hardcore.

Hundreds of unanswered questions and several more sprout,
And all I keep wondering is, "How do I go about?"

She is totally oblivious to the way I feel about her.
To me, when she's around, all else is just a blur.

A trinket of an anklet in my hand I hold
But I make no move as my feet get cold.

A hundred times over, but still the heart of a chicken.
Her hair, her skin, doesn't take too long to get smitten.

Yet, she may never know how, for her, my heart aches
And all I do is wait and watch as my heart breaks.

Maybe I'll just shatter and be finally dissolved by pain.
Or maybe I have enough strength to give my all, just this once again.
