Misfortunate Memories

by Merci Perpe   Feb 7, 2012

I wish that I forgot your kiss
But I haven't had that fortune
I once believed you were the one

It is assured that I will miss
You but I know you cannot stay
Maybe I'll move past this someday

All of the days we would caress
Under the trees above the town
Watching all of the lights go down

All of the times we would share bliss
My heart aches for more of that drug
That special drug that is called love

We each made wrongs we can't dismiss
And I don't blame you for going
But you left fast, me not knowing
