Drowning

by Grace Winter   Feb 13, 2012

She cuts herself to float away, she longs to feel again but she is a dead girl walking. So numb so dead each cut reflects her pain. She wants to feel loved to feel wanted again she needs to breathe without being haunted, these scars never fade away. The sepia filmstrips play in her head bit by bit she picked herself apart making herself perfect for you and now she fallen apart because of you.Through the depths of her you can hear the echo of her empty heart she bled it out for you, you can feel her sadness in your bones so alone so cold her smiling eyes are now dead. She is now a pathetic broken shaken mess. Her once beating heart has gone still she will never be in your arms again, put those flowers on her grave repentance of a proud man came too late
