So many know this feeling all too well, the gut wrenching emotion and the feeling of the fool. You should know better, but don't want to, because even a moment of good seems to make it worth it, until you learn what true love really is. This poem brought me back to one relationship in particular that truly molded my future relationships, and I thank God for it, no matter how hurtful it was. |

I can say I truly saw myself in this. I think the bigger disappointment is in ourself, for not seeing through the lies. It is so unfortunate that we can't just give in to our love, we have to figure out the others intentions/feelings. Excellent work. |
