You write with such emotion, its both beautiful and captivating, but also so very sad. I loved the whole piece especially certain parts of each verse but this extract really stood out:

You were the strong one, brave and full of life
A grandmother, a mother, a friend, a wife.

I can relate to these lines so perfectly, though in a much different context.

We tend to not realise those we see as being (nearly) invincible, so strong can also be quite vulnerable and it tends to come as a shock and, in some instances, a let down. Though I hope this is not what you felt at all towards this woman.

A truly beautiful and touching piece, with nice rhyme, good word choice and a simplicity that suits the tone of the poem and makes it just that bit more complex or in-depth feeling(if you know what I mean).
