My beautiful creature

by Mr Rhee   Feb 25, 2012

All is quiet, in the night
of this room.
The curtains barely swirl
and lift with the soft breeze.

Moonlight, dancing on the sill,
wanes, and falls pale,
upon your smooth skin.

It falls upon the curve of your hips,
washes over your rising breasts.
It whispers, and caresses
your soft, full, lips.

Where I thought the moonlight was blued,
it's actually you skin, so light,
glowing with a colorless palour.

I reach with one hand, to touch
the skin of your beautiful face.
Your skin is so soft, and so cool.
It feels just so cool, under my fingers.

You stir, and move your lips to my hand,
and kiss my warm palm.
My God, ...you're so cold.

It's warm here, in my bed,
for me, but not for you, dear.
I fear you are not alive to this world,
where I can love you only in the dark.

Are you but the awesome creature,
that seeks a man's love at night?
You have taken mine, and my heart.

I know not where you come from,
nor where you go by day.
I urge for your touch,
and you appear before me in the night.

A creature, unlike the demons of myths,
born of fears, or from legend.
Are you meant only for me?

My creature of the night,
why do you want me?
My creature of the night,
why do I love thee?

My creature of the night,
my beautiful creature...
kiss me, once again.
