Starry Night

by Katharine   Feb 29, 2012

I can write to me tonight.
I can write the saddest lines tonight.
For example, I write, "Starry is the sky in the night
And the blue star is trembling and distant. "
The night wind is singing and spinning in the sky.
I can write the saddest lines tonight.
I love me, and perhaps love him.
I held him close to my heart through the night like this.
I kissed him again and again under the endless sky.
Could not be greater, it was still his first love and how.
I can write the saddest lines tonight.
To think and I do not have him. The feeling that I have lost him, forever.
And poetry is reduced to the soul like dew to the pasture.
That it could not keep him a problem concerning love.
The sky lay starry, he is not with me.
That's all. In the distance someone is singing. At a distance.
My soul is not satisfied that it has lost him.
Will try to find him as if he bring my vision in the near future.
My mind is not with him, yet looks for him.
That same night whitening the same trees.
We are at that point no longer the same at mind.
When I was no longer certain, I do not love him, how I love him.
My voice tried to find the wind to touch his hearing.
His voice is bright. His eyes infinite.
When I was no longer certain, but I just do not love him, I probably love him.
Love is very short, forgetting is so long.
Since I was held in his arms through the night like this,
My soul is not satisfied that it has lost him.
This, even though he is the last pain I will suffer
I decided to write these the last verses for him.
