Dare I really shed my skin. ?
This veil that keeps me safe.?
Reveal myself to you.?
Unlock my inner self.?

Do I keep it all inside.?
Should I show it all to you.?
Do I open up my heart.?
And show the real me.?

Should I let my heart scream out.?
Drop my guard and let you in.?
Should I tell you how I feel.?
And risk my heart for bliss.?

Should I shout my love for you.?
Or keep it deep inside.?
Expose my deepest thoughts.?
Dare I really shed my skin.?
