The time ran out.

by Roberto Hernandez   Mar 6, 2012

It was me and you
this night we had felt so free
little that we knew that this old light bolt blew
tears began to fall from this gentle face
I'm crying over you just like a lonely fool
seeing you thrown up in the air like a acrobatic rag dog
just in four minutes, a lot could happen

I see your eyes disappear in the moonlight shadows
those worried blue eyes I hope to once see again
skin so soft as the moonlight skims upon it
your dirty blond hair fly's in this death air

breathing in and out like a kid having an asthma attack
lung closing in so tightly
squeezing the life out of you
so you can see your soul being taken away
I know now, that this is not a dream
that this is no fairy tale
wishing it was
giving my hopes up my hopes, just for you
so that you can see that I deeply love you
and I know you know that too

together we hold this night as a memory
memory as our love
our silence is what harms us now
nothing come out of our mouths
we take a trip to the 180 cloudy skies
as we make our way to this path
we look back at this memory
on how it once felt to be on earth
