Very very good. I really like this piece and am very glad to have come in tonight just thinking I might fine a good poem and found a really great one instead. keep up the good works - look forward to reading more..

We've talked about this poem in depth personally, and I don't want to carry over the true meaning here, as I feel it is personal and better left unsaid. :)

As a writer:

"stained lips pursing,
mumbling, cursing
as though not a soul
could hear
trickling ink
flowing profusely
like waterfalls
from broken tips to paper"

this stanza stood out most to me, as people often hide behind their words. Whether they hide their feelings/emotions, or think they are better than someone through their words, bringing condescending 'tones' through similar pieces... this piece just hit home. Being victimized through poetry makes me giggle in a way.

I like the playful way "stained lips pursing,
mumbling, cursing" in particular plays off my tongue, it's playful but disdainful at the same time. Gives me mixed emotions, being fun to say but feeling so dark and doom/gloom.

Your last stanza is another favorite of mine, poetically speaking your soft/subtle rhyme is another reason it's a "fun" read. Then you hit me with ABSOLUTE giggle fits with the very end, I couldn't help it. So often people jump to conclusions when reading poetry. I always get messages saying "why are you saying x?" I'm like WHAT? People shouldn't be confused by their OWN personal interpretation. That's the beauty of poetry, we take what we want from it. :)
