THE A.M.

The A.M.

I Love this time of the day
The night hasn't quite ended
The morning hadn't begun
No light
No moon
No sun
I lay beside him wide awake
And watch him sleep
Despite his masculine physique
At this moment he looks timid & meek
I know right now his mind & spirit are free
Wrapped up in the covers and sheets
I couldn't help kissing his cheek
I slowly put my head on his chest
Listened to his heart beat
His body so strong and smooth radiating with heat
He stretched and yawned then he looked down at me
His facial expressions showed true love and tranquility It was almost Like he was the lucky one waking up next to me
