A great poem and so true why females seem to admire the worst men, whilst the good guys who may worship them, are often given 'short shrift!'
I found this poem a real delight to read and made me laugh as it was so true!

(the answer to your observations is it's down to
'looks' I'm afraid. The bad but good looking guy gets the girls, the sincere but not so good looking ones, loose out. It's always been that way..!)
