This is such a sad poem, but so many can relate! Losing the person we love, but wanting them to stay there forever.... I feel sad for you.

Amazing way you presented the poem, it told us the story. I love it! 5/5

This is absolutly amazing. It makes me think of my boyfreind though. He's leaving to go into the Marines this year and i hope this doesn't happen to us. :/

Still you are very talented. :)

This is a really strong write, feelings wise. I like the fact that you chose to write a rhyming poem and it turned out good in my opinion too. It makes it sound a little like a lullaby though I know that there is more behind it.
The feelings in this poem are raw and you present them very well, the speaker know that it will end yet he wishes for it to be without a care in the world once more, to experience the love both of them once shared at least one more time.

Powerful and heart wrenching. When reality finally grips the heart it's hard to adjust, but then I guess it's the key to move on.

You wrote this with such realism that the reader felt the emotional pangs, the pleading and hopefulness that lingers in the heart..
    excellent

One of the best I've read in a long time. The flow of the poem is simple and easy to read that I had to go back and read it a second time. As stated by the poets who commented on the poem before me, many can relate to this situation and you've portrayed it in a beautiful, yet sad way. Keep up the good work! 5/5

This poem reminded me of, 'the last ride together' by Robert browning.
